SOME 17 high-tech projects attracted partnerships following a project signing ceremony at the fair Sunday.
Fair organizers said that the total volume of the 17 projects had reached 3.4 billion yuan (US$410 million).
The enterprises involved were from Germany, the United States, Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen and inland areas while their projects involved in telecommunications, electronics, environmental protection, medical treatment systems, software and agricultural technology.
Among the enterprises, the Shenzhen-based Qinghua University Research Institute was seen as a big winner with its partner Huajing Photoelectricity Co. Ltd. as its deal volume was valued at US$25 million.
Another big winner was a Shenzhen company named Energy Technology Inc. (ETI) which signed an agreement with an American company, American Radiosurgery Inc., to research and develop a medical treatment system named Gamma-ART-6000. ETI reached a deal volume valued at US$20 million with its American partner.
