A total of 21,000 new business entities engaged in anti-pandemic materials have been set up since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the city’s market supervision and regulation bureau has facilitated the opening of such businesses, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported yesterday.
The bureau has released a slew of measures to push ahead with pandemic prevention and control and economic development since the pandemic broke out, giving full support to enterprises to help them resume work and production.
In order to reduce the operating costs of enterprises, the bureau has provided temporary subsidies of 15.57 million yuan (US$2.34 million) for enterprises supplying vegetables.
It has also reduced the service fee of commodity bar codes by 10 percent, exempted enterprises from the measurement inspection and testing fee of 39.28 million yuan, and reduced the relevant inspection, testing and certification fees of individual businesses by 1.71 million yuan.
The bureau has launched six online courses related to anti-pandemic products, provided more than 3,200 instances of technical guidance, and offered quality and technical guidance to enterprises.
Meanwhile, around 50,000 enterprises have benefited from the information inquiry service of intellectual property rights related to the pandemic, according to the bureau.
The bureau has launched loan programs for enterprises with good credit records. A total of 38,000 companies obtained loans of over 17.2 billion yuan through the credit-based loan program “Xinyidai,” up 144 percent year on year.
