2.Food supply in Shenzhen remains abundant with prices being stable. Yunnan Province is Shenzhen’s major source of vegetables. Before the Chinese New Year, difficulty in food supply sourcing and transportation arose in Yunnan due to the epidemic outbreak. In response, the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government immediately contacted relevant channels in Yunnan to facilitate and address issues of access to refrigerators, transportation, packaging manufacturing, etc., so as to ensure unimpeded direct supply of Yunnan vegetables to Shenzhen market. From January 28 to February 3, Yunnan had provided a weekly supply of 8,500 tons of vegetables to Shenzhen, with a 47% increase in average daily supply.
