1. 10 government procurement measures are issued to ensure work and production resumption. Recently, Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau has issued Measures of Government Procurement to Help Enterprises Resume Work and Production and Tide Over Difficulties. Focusing on 10 specific measures, the document fully leverages the policy and guidance functions of government procurement to support work and production resumption of enterprises and help them tide over the difficulties, in a bid to ensure social stability and economic growth of the city. 2. 97% of key projects have resumed operation with the city’s “lifeline” running smooth. As of Mar. 7, 97% of the city’s key projects related to epidemic prevention and control, city operation, people’s livelihood, etc., have resumed operation. 3. 40,000 job posts are available at the 2020 Online Job Fair launched by Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Recently, Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has launched the “The Fight against the Epidemic- Enterprise Recruitment Service” and “2020 Online Job Fair of Key Enterprises in Shenzhen”. 337 enterprises have signed up for the fair, of which 52 are businesses in essential industrial chains. 4. Shenzhen Customs takes “best combination of measures” to help enterprises resume work and production. 5. The first internet hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Shenzhen has received more than 3,600 inquiries, reducing the risk of crowd gathering. The Internet Hospital of Bao’an TCM Hospital established this year is the first internet TCM hospital in Shenzhen. It has offered 3,607 free telephone and internet consultations, including 378 fever consultations and 1,221 online diagnosis and treatment. 6. Shenzhen’s first patient cured with plasma from recovered patients was discharged from hospital. On March 8, another patient in critical condition was cured and discharged from hospital in Shenzhen. It is reported that the COVID-19 patient was cured and discharged from the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen after treatment with plasma from recovered patients for the first time. The virus antibody extracted from the serum of the convalescent patients is not limited by blood type and can be used by all patients, which greatly improves the cure rate of the patients.
